iDreamBooks is a new site based on the principles of the Rotten Tomatoes site.

Critical reviews are selected and rated. Based on these positive or negative reviews each book is given a percentage rating.

Fifty Shades of Grey receives a 30% rating, with seven negative and three positive reviews. Death Comes to Pemberley by 'Queen of Crime' PD James receives a 48% rating with 41 reviews selected, 21 deemed positive and the remaining 20 negative. While Jodi Picoult’s Lone Wolf comes up trumps receiving a 75% rating with 12 reviews counted, nine positive and three negative.

The site is still in its infancy and seems to, at this stage, cater predominantly for the mainstream. A search of Anna Funder’s award winning book, All That I Am revealed nothing.

Rahul Simha, the co-founder of the site said "This is a challenging endeavour because there are a lot more books that come out than other verticals like movies ...  We are working towards becoming the site people visit before buying a book."
