The anticipation of the next Bridget Jones film is almost too much. Now we have been teased with the front cover of Helen Fielding's fourth book which will be released in October after the film release.
Bridget Jones's Baby: The Diaries features a silhouette of a pregnant Bridget against a baby blue backdrop. Is the baby blue a clue?
There have been numerous likes and shares of the cover reveal but a little confusion as well. Fans of Bridget are wondering how Mark Darcy can father a child after being killed off in a previous book, much to the outrage of his fans. In Mad About the Boy, the third book, Bridget finds herself a widow with two children.
Details of Book Four have been revealed:
As Bridget careers towards baby-deadline, tortured by Smug Mothers miming her ticking biological clock, a series of classic Bridget Jones moments finally leads her into pregnancy – but just not quite as intended. It’s a pregnancy full of cheesy potatoes, outlandish advice from Drunken Singletons and Smug Mothers, chaos at scans and childbirth classes, high jinks and romance, joy and despair – but all of it dominated by the terribly awkward question – ‘Who’s the Father?’
We think perhaps Bridget Jones's Baby is a prequel - maybe? Despite the timeline discrepancy we can't wait for the film and the book!
We are loving the trailer for Our Brand is Crisis. The competition between Billy Bob Thornton and Sandra Bullock looks set to provide the film with excellent comic banter. On September 9, 2015
