There are eight new books being released this week in the hilarious Ladybird series for Grown-Ups. The series takes a humorous look at the difficulties of being an adult today.

The new titles include How it Works: The Cat; How it Works: The Dog; The Ladybird Book of the People Next Door; The Ladybird Book of Red Tape; The Ladybird Book of the Zombie Apocalypse; The Ladybird Book of the Meeting; The Ladybird Book of the Sickie; and How it Works: The Grandparent.

All books in the series feature original Ladybird artwork alongside brilliant, brand new text from the Jason Hazeley and Jason Morris, writers of the BBC show, Miranda.

The biggest seller in the series last Christmas was How it Works: The Husband. It seems none of us really know how husbands work and are keen for any possible insight.
