Transformers: Age of Extinction begins after an epic battle left a great city torn, but with the world saved. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history…while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs.
This is a terrific movie with a suspenseful and interesting plot. It starts out with a raid on the Autobots, the alien robot race keen to protect humans. These transformers are now being hunted by humans. Michael Bay, the director, creates an essence of mysteriousness surrounding the new transformers.
There were strong performances from actors especially Mark Wahlberg who easily portrays a protective and loving father, a role he took in his stride and performed to the highest standards. Stanley Tucci was the comic relief in the film, his performance as a charismatic business owner trying to make the world a better place was well done.
This movie is funny, enjoyable and has something for everyone. It’s a true Michael Bay film.
