Jack Reacher 2 begins

On October 21, 2015

Paramount has announced that principal photography has begun on the second Jack Reacher film. Never Go Back starring Tom Cruise (Mission: Impossible franchise) will be released in October 2016. Filming will begin in New Orleans.

The film is based on author Lee Child’s 18th book in the Jack Reacher series.

Never Go Back sees Reacher, at the end of his long journey, honing in on his target in Virginia at last.?After an epic and interrupted journey all the way from the snows of South Dakota, Jack Reacher has finally made it to Virginia. His destination: a sturdy stone building a short bus ride from Washington D.C., the headquarters of his old unit, the 110th MP. It was the closest thing to a home he ever had.

He wants to meet the new commanding officer, Major Susan Turner. He liked her voice on the phone. But the officer sitting behind Reacher's old desk isn't a woman. Should he have gone back after all?

Another gripping thriller for Tom Cruise to tackle.

Starring alongside Cruise will be Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Aldis Hodge (A Good Day to Die Hard) and Patrick Heusinger (Quantum Break).
