Ladybird books for grown-ups has given us a new satirical look at the way we live our lives. Dating, hangovers and even mindfulness, all get a look in, set to the backdrop of illustrations from the past. This quirky series takes situations today and adds a touch of dark humour.

The latest book in the series is aptly titled ‘The Ex’. From plotting revenge on the ex to desperate attempts to win the ex back, this slim tome has it all.
