Emma and Clem are two friends trying to make it unscathed through their twenties. Emma works for a branding agency in London. She feels undervalued and her dream of becoming a writer is slipping away. If she gets through the day having disguised her hangover then it’s been a good day. When she is not at work she attempts to pursue her literary career by writing a blog. She discovers that her personal life is actually something strangers are interested in.

Clementine arrives back in London after a sojourn to New York. She is saddled with debt and has to move in with her mum. With a broken heart and her dream of becoming a screenwriter shattered, Clementine takes a job at a bar. In her spare time she emails agents and anyone else who could give her a helping hand into the film industry.

As their 30s loom, Emma and Clem realise that they have to pursue their dream jobs before it’s too late. With little money, these two friends resolve to at least attempt to live the dream.
