A gripping debut novel with dark undertones. If you like your heroines gritty and fractured then you will enjoy this book. Think Gone Girl drama. And if that wasnít enough movie rights have already been picked up by Reese Witherspoon so read the book quickly. Itís not hard. Once youíve picked it up you wonít put it down until the final page.

Ani FaNelli seems to have it all. She lives the glossy life of a high profile magazine editor and is engaged to catch of the year wealthy Luke Harrison. But as her wedding day approaches cracks begin to appear in Aniís persona.

She has a dark past that Luke feels he has rescued her from but Ani or TifAni as she used to be called canít quite leave behind. As wedding preparations are finalised Aniís high school years at Bradley are slowly revealed as a production company begins filming a documentary on Aniís life.

Luke is not keen on the attention but Ani feels it is time for her to have her say. Soon the past threatens to consume her as she is reunited with her former self. Will she be portrayed as victim or perpetrator? Can she finally move past the events that have dominated her life?

A compelling and sometimes shocking read. It is worth putting your weekend aside for Luckiest Girl Alive.
