Based on the quirky Australian picture book by Jackie French and Bruce Whatley, Pete the Sheep is a 50-minute musical to play at the Glen Street Theatre from 1-3 October amid touring regional NSW and Australia.
Shaun the sheep shearer is new to Shaggy Gully, and instead of using a sheep dog like the other shearers, his partner is Pete, a sheep sheep. The other shearers don’t warm to Shaun and Pete, so the sheep shearer and his sheep sheep set up their own Shearing Salon in town, where their woolly clients delight in Shaun’s styling prowess.
