Shonda Rhimes to pen 'Yes' book

Shonda Rhimes ‘s first book is all about saying ‘Yes’. Entertainment Weekly reports the creator of Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy and executive producer of How to Get Away With Murder will release her first book, Year of Yes, in November.

According to a statement the book will tell how saying’ Yes’ to everything for one year set Shonda up for even more success.

“Saying yes for an entire year turned out to be one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made,” Rhimes said. “It was also a little insane, a lot terrifying and sometimes wildly embarrassing.”

“My New Year’s resolution was to say yes to the things that scare me.” One of those things included giving Dartmouth College’s 2014 commencement speech. Another was her cameo on The Mindy Project as a beer-pong champion.

Shonda Rhimes is one of the most talented and admired women in Hollywood. We look forward to getting some insight into her massive success. Buy the book here.
