The trailer for On the Basis of Sex has just been released. Starring Felicity Jones, Mimi Leder directs the film written by Daniel Stiepleman. Jones plays Ginsburg a young lawyer who teams up with her husband Marty (Armie Hammer) to bring a landmark gender discrimination case before the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Joining Felicity Jones is Justin Theroux, Kathy Bates, Sam Waterston, Jack Reynor and Cailee Spaeny. The film marks the 25th anniversary of Ginsburg’s SCOTUS appointment by President Bill Clinton that made her only the second female ever to serve on the court.
The film will be released on December 25, 2018.
