Friday: The Doctor Blake Mysteries, 8.30pm, ABC
When a famous actress is murdered at a charity event at the Colonist's Club, it really does become a night to remember, as Blake tries to find the killer with very little to help him. Stars Craig McLachlan.

Saturday: Life of Pi, 7.30pm, TEN
A young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger.
