We Were On A Break by Lindsey Kelk

On October 28, 2016

If you are heading on a holiday then this is the book to pack in your beach bag.

Lindsey Kelk is an author, journalist and prolific tweeter. Previously a childrenís book editor and columnist for Marie Claire, Lindsey is now a full-time writer. You can link up with her on Twitter or Snapchat.

Her latest novel begins when a romantic holiday turns into a disaster. It was the holiday that a proposal was supposed to happen with the ring you knew had been bought. Instead it ends with no proposal and the suggestion of a break.

it a break? Or is it a blip?

Liv and Adam find themselves on opposite sides of the life they had mapped out.

Friends and family are a little concerned. Liv throws herself into her work as a vet, choosing to spend more time with animals than humans. and Adam tries to get himself out of the hole heís dug.

The short break soon becomes a larger one that they may never find their way back from.

A humorous read that will keep you turning the pages. If you are a fan of Friends you will appreciate the title.

You can buy the book here in Australia and here in the UK.
