90 years after Winnie the Pooh was first published a new book celebrates another 90th birthday.

Winnie the Pooh and the Royal Birthday pays homage to The Queen with a visit to Buckingham Palace. We hope a more successful one than his previous visit. Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and friends ride on a red bus and take in the sights of London before giving the Queen a very special 90th birthday present.

In 1926 A.A. Milne dedicated a collection of songs to Princess Elizabeth who is said to have been a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh stories.

The new book has been written by Jane Riordan and illustrated in EH Shepard style by Mark Burgess. Jim Broadbent narrates the audiobooks. The book is free and can be downloaded here.
